Need advice
Many of you have played around with iPads and other tablets so I have a question. I've heard good things about the new Kindle Fire but I've never played around with one. I've also heard that there are a lot of good apps for autistic children on the iPad. I'd prefer not to spend over $500 on a gadget my kid is going to use but I also don't want to get the Fire and then not be able to get the good apps for it. So here is my question for you tablet users: Are the apps downloadable on multiple tablets or are they brand-exclusive? If you have experience with the varying varieties of tablets out there, which did you like and why?

If anyone has questions or comments or advice feel free to share. Oh, and no hate, please. It hasn't been an issue thus far and I hope it won't be. Other people using this blog as a platform to spew unkindness or judgment at parents who don't share their opinions or parenting styles won't be tolerated. Friendly, well-informed debate is another thing entirely, and as I love to learn, I'd love for you to share any research or information you stumble across.

I would actually like to know this too! I like that the Kindle Fire is much more inexpensive, but I don't know enough about it.
ReplyDeleteI hope your family had a great Thanksgiving!!! And I hope you all didn't overdo on pie as much as I did. Though I enjoyed myself. :)
